For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." John 3:16-17

This book is for younger readers as a teen but I enjoyed it anyway.  Robin Jones Gunn has written about two girls Christy Miller and Sierra Jensen as in each girl's story then interact with each other.

The first story is "Now Boarding at Gate 10" when Christy Miller after her high school graduating and her family has just landing at Minneapolis-St Paul airport as she and her thirteen year old brother went to get something to drink she saw a man she thought was her ex boyfriend so she went up to him and made a fool of herself as it was not and the guy looks at her as if she was crazy.

When they got to Wisconsin to visit relatives she felt at home as this was where they had moved from when her dad's work had gotten bad.  She met an old friend Matthew and he drove her around town.  She thought that she was still seeing her ex everywhere she went and thought about him a lot.  Will this summer vacation with her family change her ways of thinking?
The second story is "In The Event of a Water Landing" where fifteen year old Sierra Jensen was getting to go on a plane trip with her friend Jana, Jana's brother and another friend.  This is the first time she had ever gotten to go on a trip without her parents, they were going to meet Jana's parents in Montana.  The tickets were mixed up and they had to exchange them for others and then this plane was not going where they needed to meet up with the parents.

I have read some of Robin's Christin fiction books and always enjoyed them.  She is a talented written and I think anyone would enjoy this book, if they are thirteen or sixty-eight.

This book was sent to me free from Blogging for Book to review.
